RECTOR -
The Rev. C.
Joseph Sitts
Father Sitts has been our Rector since 1992.
Originally from upstate New York, he graduated from Utica College
(Syracuse University), and then from Berkeley (Yale) Divinity
School. He has served parishes in Oneonta, Schenevus, and
Schenectady, N.Y., and Warren, Ohio. Father Joe and his
wife, Margaret, have three adult children and two grandchildren.

DEACON -
The Rev. Susie Bruno
After Susie joined Resurrection in 1985, she felt a call to
be ordained. After three years of study she was ordained
as a deacon in 1993. The Bishop has continued to assign her
to Resurrection. Originally from California, she is a
graduate of Occidental College. She has taught at
Sweetwater Episcopal Academy since 1987, and currently serves as
their Religion Teacher and Chaplain. At Resurrection, she
coordinates Pastoral Care and the Resurrection Seniors program.
Susie and her husband, Paul, have two adult children. |

DEACON -
The Rev. Brenda Taylor
Brenda has been our Communications Coordinator since 2003,
and has served as a deacon with us since the following year.
Originally from Pennsylvania, she has served parishes in
Maryland, Kentucky, Ohio, and Central Florida. At
Resurrection, she coordinates Outreach Ministry and Family
Ministry. She and her husband, Tony live in Lake Mary. |

PARISH
ADMINISTRATOR -
Sherry Shuman
Sherry has been a member of Resurrection "from the
beginning." Active in parish life, when she volunteered to
help in the office, the position quickly became a regular one
and she has served as our Parish Administrator for many years.
Originally from Maryland, she and her husband, Gill, have two
adult children and three grandchildren. |

DIRECTOR
OF MUSIC -
Tim Hanes
Tim is the Director of Music at Resurrection.
As such, he directs both our adult and children's' choirs.
He is the
artistic director, of the Orlando Youth Theatre and creator of
Orlando Kids on Stage. He is also the staff accompanist for the
University of Central Florida Musical Theatre Program. Tim was
director of education for The Civic Theatres of Central Florida
and created the performance troupe Civic Kids. He served as
Artist-in-Residence for the State of Tennessee and is the
creator of the nationally known performance troupe Kids
Unlimited and the Knoxville Performing Arts Institute. Tim has
had 5 groups under his direction selected to perform at the
White House. |
