Welcome to the online presence of The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Longwood, Florida.  We are in Central Florida, and Longwood is a northern suburb of Orlando, Florida. 

Resurrection is an Episcopal Church, but we are more than just a church - Resurrection is a whole family of ministries that reaches through the whole Central Florida area. We strive to warmly serve the people of God from birth through senior citizens, and from long-time church members to those who have hardly ever set foot inside a church. We work very hard to be "user friendly." Our people are from all economic levels, ethnic backgrounds, and from a variety of geographic areas in this country and elsewhere. Come and join our family!
 

We see ourselves as a moderate parish dedicated to the Episcopal Church, with worshippers from many different religious backgrounds.  Those who worship here have a variety of opinions on the topics of the day, and yet all can pray, worship with, and care for each other.  Whether you are just visiting Orlando and Central Florida, or you have settled here, we welcome you to Resurrection.  If you would like to know more about the joy we find in our Lord, please contact us.

 Sweetwater Summer Day Camp has started for 3year olds through 6th grade. We have lots of surprises this summer starting with our camp’s 25th anniversary! We are so excited and hope to see you all this summer. For more information the camp office phone # is 407-788-2267. We welcome your call.

Our Sunday service time changed on Sunday, January 6.

  In order to give more time for adult and children’s education between services, and to create a Family Fellowship and Education Hour, the later service on Sunday morning will move from 10:00 to 10:30am.
