Rise Against Hunger! - FOOD PACKING EVENT

Our January Outreach Project is to raise funds to once again sponsor a “Rise Against Hunger” event at Resurrection. The project will cost $3,500. Please make your checks payable to ECR and write ‘Rise Against Hunger’ in the memo line. You may also put cash in the envelopes marked RISE AGAINST HUNGER and place them in the offering plate.

On Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 9 AM to 11 AM, ECR will also need your help to “RISE AGAINST HUNGER,” working with a global movement to end hunger by empowering all children and adults, ages 3 to 93, to help pack 10,000 meals of dry food at 35 cents a meal for shipment to a community of hungry children, women and men.  RISE AGAINST HUNGER provides immediate nourishment for those facing hunger. It will be an uplifting, high energy and exciting project.  When finished, we will pray over the meals and forward them to FEED THE HUNGRY.
